Good Music / Bad Summer || Wyatt Sparks

GOOD MUSIC
BAD SUMMER

Katie kept talking
about how much
she needed to
get fucked
tonight
Joe said
he needed to get
fucked too
for awhile
everybody
told Katie
what to
text him
while Joe
had no one
to text
i didn’t
say anything
the whole time
b/c i kind of
liked Katie
and figured
this guy wouldn’t
want to fuck
her anyway
kind of cruel
right?

then

i went
on three
dates in
three weeks
which was
a lot
for me
all the girls
were nice
but
there was
nothing there
i kept telling
them they
were nice
i told my
parents they
were nice
everyone
kept asking
why i wouldn’t
see any
of them
anymore

then

at Tom’s
apartment reading
someone saw
his arms
and asked
about them
and Tom said
to me
there are
two types
of people
people who
want people
to put cigarettes out
on their arms
and people
who don’t
people who will
always put butts out
on my arms
when asked

then

Brianne came
over me
we were
naked
so i said
is it okay
if we don’t
have sex
she said
sure i
moved her
hand down
and we did it
to her together
occasionally flipping
when it
seemed exciting
it was someone
else’s bed
so i checked
if we fucked up
the sheets
but we didn’t
they were
just like they
left them
